About this event
Caring for someone as they approach the end of their life is different from caring for someone who is going to get better. Yet, most people don’t know this.
Barbara Karnes, RN, created the award-winning educational film, New Rules for End of Life Care. The film provides guidance on caring for a loved one who is at the end of their life, whether they are at home, in a nursing home or a hospital.
Everyone is invited to attend the screening to gain valuable information that will help you better understand the dying process and the stages of death. The film is 30 minutes in length and will be followed by a 30-minute discussion led by staff from Samaritan Evergreen Hospice.
