About this event
The College of Liberal Arts and the Office of Research Integrity within the Division of Research and Innovation (DRI) are hosting a nine-month in-person Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training Program on one to two Fridays of each month from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in academic year 2026-2027.
This seminar series will allow you to complete RCR training requirements in monthly sessions with presentations by OSU faculty and staff. In particular, this seminar series will allow recipients of NIH career development and training grants to meet their 8-hour, face-to-face training obligations (if they attend 8 of the 10 sessions), and for other researchers to meet their requirements and recommendations from other funding agencies.
All faculty and graduate students are welcome to attend.
There will be a total of 10 hour-long sessions in AY 2026-2027. The schedule will be updated as topics and speakers are confirmed. Light refreshments will be provided.
Session 3: Research Security
Friday, December 4, from 2-3 p.m. in MU 213 (Pan-Afrikan Sankofa) Presenter: Mallory Day, Export Compliance Officer
Attending Session 3 is one way to complete Research Security Training, required by several federal funders at the time of submission . For more information, please see the NSF research security training page and the OSU research security training page .
