About this event
Learn to use an open source alternative to Adobe Illustrator ( Inkscape ) to make and edit figures for publication (posters, presentations, infographics, journal articles!). In this workshop, we'll be gathering to work through several scientific illustration/graphics development scenarios, as well as working with your own data (if time). If you have your own project, feel free to bring it.
NOTE: This workshop meets in the Autzen classroom of the Valley Library; computers in the Autzen classroom have Inkscape pre-installed. If you want to bring your own laptop, please install Inkscape in advance of the workshop.
Accommodation requests related to a disability for events at the Valley Library should be made at least a week before to 541-737-3627 library.accessibility@oregonstate.edu
