- ➤ Oregon State University hosted the free 'Play Like a Girl' event that connected girls ages 8 to 14 with female student-athletes through games + confidence-building activities today in Corvallis. KEZI
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ At the Cottage Grove Invitational on Feb. 7 at Cottage Grove HS, Philomath wrestlers Alexis Pettit and Rielly Ellingsen placed fourth and sixth respectively as the team finished 15th out of 40 schools. The team will now focus on the District 1 tournament at Molalla on Feb. 20-21. Philomath News
- ➤ Senior Riley Barrett won the 150-pound title for Philomath at the Cottage Grove Invitational on Feb. 6-7 at Cottage Grove HS — he improved to a 19-0 record. The team finished eighth and will meet opponents in Newport for the 4A Special District 2 tournament on Feb. 14. Philomath News
