EDUCATION NEWS

  • Linn-Benton Community College announced a tuition increase for the 2026-27 school year, set to take effect in the fall. The change will boost support for improved services & campus facilities.  Corvallis Gazette-Times

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Save Corvallis Schools is running a school board recall petition drive and hosting a family event today at Walnut Barn at MLK Park from 4-6 p.m. with additional drop-in sessions until April 3 — supporters need 4,577 signatures by April 6.  The Corvallis Advocate

HEALTH NEWS

  • Kaitlin Fogg, an OSU assistant professor of bioengineering, is developing 3D tissue models to study women’s health issues including ovarian cancer and endometriosis. Her lab recently received a five-year, $1.5 million grant (MIRA funding) and plans to examine drug delivery and toxicology of menstrual products.  The Corvallis Advocate
