  • Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis notified its lender on Feb. 25 that it might default on its debt because available income fell short of requirements—citing reduced payments and rising expenses—and is open to a buyout by a larger partner. The health system will review consultant recommendations by May to boost income for debt service and guide future changes.  Corvallis Gazette-Times
