EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Philomath School Board will meet at 7 p.m. today at Philomath High School (2054 Applegate St) to review district objectives, safety procedures and the 2027-28 academic calendar while welcoming public input early in the session. Reports from the superintendent and officials will be presented and the meeting streamed online.  Philomath News
  • The Higher Education Coordinating Commission awarded $8.5 million from Oregon's Semiconductor Talent Sustaining Fund to eight FAST members, including OSU which received $1.6 million to expand training labs, new courses and remote-delivery programs.
