- ➤ Benton County launched Nature Neighbors (a partnership between Greenbelt Land Trust and Benton Soil and Water Conservation District) to help residents turn small yard spaces into wildlife habitat with native plantings and pollinator support. - ➤ Redfin data shows that the three-month average median house price in Corvallis was $560,833 in early 2026, up 4.0% from last year and 15.2% higher than in 2022; nationwide, prices increased by 9.3%. Philomath News

- ➤ Philomath High’s softball team lost 16-0 to Sweet Home on Thursday, Apr. 30 at Warrior Field (Philomath HS) when the game was stopped after three innings due to the 15-run rule. The Warriors, missing key pitcher Hailey Smith, managed only two hits in the contest. Philomath News
