- ➤ The Corvallis Public Works Department invites residents on Wednesday, June 10 for a guided tour of the Corvallis Forest in the Rock Creek watershed. The free tour departs City Hall at 4:30 p.m. and returns at 8:30 p.m., focusing on forest management and the updated stewardship plan (registration required). City of Corvallis

- ➤ The Philomath Youth Activities Club has opened registration for Fun in the Sun summer camp running weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from June 17 through Aug. 21. Families registering early before May 15 can waive the $25 fee — space is limited to 50 children per day. Philomath News

- ➤ Philomath High's girls tennis team swept West Albany 8-0 at home on Wednesday, May 6 with decisive 10-point tiebreak wins — the Warriors will play at 4 p.m. Thursday at Woodburn. Philomath News
- ➤ Philomath High’s boys golf team competed in a five-school tournament at Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach on Wednesday, May 6, where senior Roman Robins finished seventh with a score of 93 (from round totals of 47 on the front and 46 on the back). The primary purpose of this position is to provide cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, windows and mirrors, etc. in designated areas of the hotel. When assigned to guestrooms, replaces linens, replenishes amenities, makes beds, and responds to guests special requests. Also, communicate with guests to respond to special requests and complaints.
