- ➤ The Philomath Youth Activities Club needs about 40 student volunteers for its May 29 Community Kids Carnival at Philomath High School where the event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.; volunteers must sign up by May 26 to receive a free T-shirt and meal and help keep children safe. Philomath News
