- ➤ The Benton County Fair & Rodeo runs July 29–Aug. 1 at the fairgrounds, featuring free evening concerts, 4-H livestock shows, rodeos, carnival rides, and competitions. Family Day on July 29 gives kids free entry while local bands compete on July 30. The Corvallis Advocate

- ➤ The Philomath School Board approved a five-year student transportation contract with First Student Inc. during its meeting on Thursday, May 21; the new provider will replace Mid Columbia Bus Co. starting July 1 for the 2026-27 school year. Philomath News

- ➤ A new study by Oregon State University shows that local farmers and conservation groups are aligned on key issues—such as managing water supply uncertainty and improving collaboration—as they plan future river restoration after the Klamath dam removals. The Corvallis Advocate

- ➤ Philomath senior Lucy King ended her state tournament run with a second-round loss to Marist Catholic’s Phoebie Larson Friday at the OSU Tennis Complex in Corvallis. King, who rose from beginner three years ago to become the Warriors’ top singles player (14–4 record), closed her high school tennis career. Philomath News
- ➤ Philomath’s baseball team lost 8-7 in eight innings on May 21 at Bob Brack Stadium (Aurora) but secured the conference runner-up spot ahead of the playoffs. They will play on the road Tuesday when the playoff bracket is announced. Philomath News
