  • The PYAC Community Kids Carnival will run from 5:30—8:30 p.m. this Friday at Philomath High’s Clemens Field. The fundraiser offers inflatables, games, food and a silent auction with wristbands costing $25 for ages 7 and older and $20 for kids 6 and under, while parking is limited so visitors should use nearby schools.  Philomath News

  • Philomath High School's boys volleyball team placed sixth at the state tournament over the weekend when they faced Newport in a trophy-match showdown—finishing their inaugural season with a 17-8 record after a straight-set win against Marshfield.  Philomath News
  • Philomath High junior Caleb Babcock threw a complete-game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts Tuesday as his team won 2—0 over Tillamook at Terry Stephenson Field. The Warriors will face Scappoose on Friday—an opponent they must beat to advance in the Class 4A quarterfinals.  Philomath News
