On Wednesday afternoon, the Corvallis Fire Department put out a grass fire in the 5500 block of West Hills Road near an assisted living facility (using two brush engines, two water tenders and a Battalion Chief) and officials confirmed no injuries or property damage.
The road was briefly closed while the area was secured.
