Good morning, Corvallis.

Four men face serious charges after a masked robber forced a man to hand over $1,200 in a 40-second incident at Fish Peddler’s Market parking lot in Newport just before 6 p.m. on Friday—three suspects were caught in Corvallis while the fourth, who allegedly texted a death threat to the victim, was arrested days later.

Corvallis leaders debated how to evaluate the city manager as Ward 9 Councilor Tony Cadena said the evaluation process had many shortcomings—officials plan to review the process further.
