Economists Riccadonna and Kennedy released Tuesday's revenue forecast showing Oregon's growth is now nearly on pace with the national rate after post-COVID lag.
The forecast projects a $55 million bump this biennium and nearly $600 million more for the 2027 to 2029 biennium (boosted by higher personal income taxes).

Portland & Western Railroad settled with DEQ for $62,400 after its 2025 Corvallis bridge collapse spilled 200 tons of fertilizer into Marys River; the agency dropped its demand for bridge inspections after approving the cleanup.
