After a yearlong reroute, the Corvallis to the Sea trail reopens today for walkers and bikers — a project built over 20 years by dedicated volunteers managing pathways through the Oregon Coast Range.
Philomath’s Public Safety Chili Cook-Off will take place Sunday, Sept.
13 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yew Wood Corral on the Frolic and Rodeo grounds, featuring 24 teams from law enforcement and restaurants + an Emergency Preparedness and Services Fair for community resources.
