- ➤ Philomath High sophomore Cassidy Smart won the 40th Paul Mariman Invitational at Clemens Field on Oct. 11 with a new personal record of 18:49.9—her finish beat Sweet Home’s Emma Whitton and helped the Warriors win with 37 points.
