  • Philomath High sophomore Cassidy Smart won the 40th Paul Mariman Invitational at Clemens Field on Oct. 11 with a new personal record of 18:49.9—her finish beat Sweet Home’s Emma Whitton and helped the Warriors win with 37 points. The team will run at districts and state soon as they finish the season.  Philomath News
