  • Philomath High School crowned its 2025 homecoming king and queen during halftime of Friday night's football game at Clemens Field—seniors Tlacaelel Brambila Boatner and Avery Smith expressed surprise and gratitude as they received the honors. Both students offered advice to younger classmates, urging them to be themselves.  Philomath News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Philomath High School volleyball reached the semifinals at the Marshfield Invitational in Coos Bay on Saturday but lost to Churchill in a close match. The Warriors qualified as the No. 1 seed in pool play — they beat North Eugene — and will resume conference play Tuesday with a trip to North Marion before hosting their final regular season match Thursday when seniors will be honored.  Philomath News
