CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Residents will learn about fungi and explore the fall forest at Beazell Memorial Forest’s annual Mushroom Day on Sunday, November 9, where workshops, guided trails, crafts and cooking demos will be held at the Education Center. - ➤ On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the Benton County Board approved the Coffin Butte Landfill expansion in a 2 to 1 vote and added conditions including a 1.3 million ton waste limit and paid full-time monitoring by Republic Services—Commissioner Shepherd voted against the plan.
