- ➤ On Nov. 6, DEQ issued a pre-enforcement notice to Coffin Butte Landfill, located north of Corvallis, for air quality compliance issues tied to landfill gas emissions identified in inspections from June 2022, June 2024 and fall 2025—Valley Landfills Inc must provide additional details and correct the issues as DEQ prepares a formal enforcement order and penalty assessment in coming months.
