Good morning, Corvallis.

Philomath residents shared Thanksgiving memories from fancy dinners to fun football games—stories that show how family traditions have changed over time.

Their recollections from home and abroad remind everyone of the joy found in being together and thankful.

At 88, Harriet Hughes has spent 23 years managing 82 affordable housing rooms in Philomath to help vulnerable neighbors and answer calls as late as 2 a.m.—she now plans to add double studio units by the end of December to serve a diverse community with careful tenant integration.

Her daily efforts and open phone line continue to maintain stability and reduce conflicts at her properties.

A new online job board was launched for Corvallis job seekers—employment postings list local positions in various fields to help candidates find new career opportunities.
