  • Philomath boys basketball wrapped up their South Coast Les Schwab Tournament run with a 60 to 26 win over Sutherlin on Dec. 20 at Marshfield HS in Coos Bay, finishing fourth. The Warriors will play Tuesday at Junction City at 7 p.m. before competing in Scappoose later that week.  Philomath News
  • Philomath High’s wrestling teams earned eight medals at Grants Pass Winter Kickoff last weekend, headlined by senior Riley Barrett’s 150-pound win as the boys finished fourth overall; they will next compete at the Northwest Duals on Dec. 29-30 at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Albany.  Philomath News
