ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On December 22 at 7:30 a.m., a kayaker capsized near Booneville Channel and Kiger Island Drive when high water trapped him in a slough; the Corvallis Fire Department and Benton County Sheriff's Office rescued him with boats, drones, and a swimmer — he was uninjured.  City of Corvallis

  • Taylor Young and Brynlee Young powered Crater (6-3) to a 76-52 win against Philomath in the Spartan Holiday Showcase at Corvallis HS on Dec. 21. Coach Ben Silva said the teams will meet again on Jan. 6 at Central Point.  Philomath News
